Standex Edge offers high-reliability inductors that are essential for military and aerospace (Mil/Aero) applications, where failure is not an option. These inductors are part of Standex’s planar magnetics line, preferred for applications where size, weight, and performance (SWaP) targets are critical.
Standex’s magnetics are built to withstand harsh environments, including those encountered by high-speed military strike equipment and spaceflight payloads, resisting extreme shock and vibration over a wide temperature range. Specifically, inductors are available across all planar magnetics package sizes and power ranges, from low power (10W) up to high power (250kW).
For ultra-high-stakes missions, components such as those manufactured by NASCENTechnology (a Standex company) include LTCC inductors, which are extremely robust and offer up to a one-third volumetric size reduction compared to wire-wound designs. Standex inductors are also subject to In-House MIL-STD Qualification Testing, including tests for mechanical shock, vibration, thermal shock, and salt fog.
